Harris Hydro Power Plants are alternator powered using a pelton wheel and a variable number of nozzles.,
Industry Standard, simple and reliable. Hydros are manufactured site specific. Head 20' to 600'. 12vdc max 700 watts, 24vdc max 1400 watts, 48vdc max 1500 watts. Most hydros above 1000
watts should have a cooling fan. If you send us your specs we'll calculate you power output,
wire size pipe size and cost.

API-Hydro:
API Hydro Power Plants have a permanent magnet, brushless alternator powered without exposed rotating parts or wiring. Power outputs up to
1kW at heads from 3m to 100m with 2 nozzles are common. At sites with larger hydro resources multiple units can achieve up to 10kW. The standard Battery Charging
Model is commonly used at remote sites and charges a battery bank at 12/24/48 vdc. The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
Model sends power at 120 vdc to a MPPT Charge Controller to save on cable costs. The Grid Tie Model requires no Battery Bank and is designed for homes already on the grid near a good hydro resource. There is also a High Voltage Model for long distance transmission. Constructed with with recycled materials, all models are weatherproof, reliable, with inexpensive spare parts available. Batteries, Cables, Charge Controllers and Inverters are sold separately.

wire size, pipe size and give you a total system component cost. If you wish, installation is available as well.

Long distance transmission system:
We have put these hydros up to 1 mile from the point of power usage. Since these are alternators we get the power prior to the rectifier bridge
(AC power) and boost the voltage up to 600 vac for long distance transmission without
power loss. Very reliable and efficient. The long distance transmission system is $2000.00.
