Description

We have been a distributor and installer for Sol-Ark inverters for many years.  These inverters are an “all in one” solution to most installation problems.  All necessary and required circuit breakers, multiple 500 vdc solar MPPT inputs, Solar disconnect switch, plus AC charging via grid and/or generator are included.  These inverters are basically computers not inverters.  They can be programmed multiple ways.  Plus, they are very compatible with 16 cell LiFePO4 systems.  We no longer need to use our API Li system's BMS to control charge, discharge, etc.  We can program the Sol-Ark inverters to our system needs.  One of the many benefits of these inverters is that they have two separate outputs.  One output is grid tied export or non- export by simply installing CT’s at the point of common coupling.  This circuit is a grid tied circuit and shuts down during a power outage.  The other is the inverter output and is “hot/live” as long as you have solar or battery power.  The inverter can be programmed to supply all the power to the inverter output circuit and send “excess” power to the grid tied circuit for export or non-export.  These inverters can function with or without batteries.  One of the many benefits of using our API LiFePO4 systems is when the batteries are fully charged there is very little resistance and minimal to no charge current goes to the battery.  At that point all loads are powered solar direct while the Li system stays in standby mode until the loads accumulate and more power is needed.  Most systems fully charge their Li system by mid-day and then run solar direct the rest of the day, utilizing the battery stored power only at night and early morning.

Exeltech MX Systems

Description

MX systems:  Modular, redundant, virtually impossible for a system failure.  Individual 1000w power modules installed into a “cage”.  Each power module is controlled by a “control card”.  Control cards are redundant; if one fails the system automatically switches to the second control card and sends a signal via the alarm card.  “Alarm Cards” are system status indicators and have system on/off switches.  Cages can be set up as 120, 120/240 and 208 3 phase.  Cages can be initially sized with minimal power modules and more can be added, over time as system power requirements grow.  If a power module fails, the rest of the system still functions.  Power modules can be swapped out “hot”.  Meaning you can replace/remove power modules while the system is on and producing power.  No other inverter system on the market can do this.
